Scotland (East) Overview

Since opening our East of Scotland depot with Regional Manager Donald Thomson in 2011, Countrywide Grounds Maintenance has steadily built a clientèle ranging from Blue Chip organisations to local companies. The depot is strategically positioned near Blairgowrie providing an ideal base to service the East of Scotland with travelling distances minimised by careful work planning and scheduling.

This depot provides a full range of grounds maintenance services, including tree work, and the manager believes in up-skilling his staff to reduce the need to consider sub-contractors, thereby guaranteeing full control over service delivery and quality control. This depot maintains a fleet of modern and well serviced grounds maintenance equipment and has an established relationship with local suppliers when specialist machinery is required for non-routine operations.

In accordance with the new Waste Regulations in Scotland this depot works hard at reducing and recycling all waste produced from its ground maintenance operations. With appropriate licensing from SEPA, all green waste is recycled, either in house or at local authority green waste recycling facilities situated within the area covered by this depot. The office has its heating and hot water powered principally by wood fired boiler in an effort to reduce the carbon footprint.

We have a wide range of clients in the region and have extensive local experience in looking after the grounds maintenance needs of commercial and industrial sites, hotels, recreation centres, apartment complexes, historic sites, public open spaces, retail parks, etc.

We can also provide gritting and snow clearance services during the winter months.
